Dr. Evelyn Rodriguez trained as a General Psychiatrist and specialized as a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist in Mexico City. She earned her Master of Medical Science from the National Institute of Medical Science and Nutrition, Mexico City, where she develops as an invited adjunct professor of the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist training program. In 2011, Dr. Rodriguez Joined the Center for Research in Infectious Diseases (CIENI) as Mental Health Coordinator. In 2015, she finished her training as a clinical sexologist and sex therapist in the Mexican Association for Sexual Health.
Dr. Rodriguez is experienced in the psychiatric management and mental health-related aspects of the medically ill population with emphasis in the HIV population. She currently serves as a clinical research investigator at CIENI in topics related to the HIV population such as treatment adherence and psychiatric morbidity.
